Study and Manufacture of a Rolling Bearing with Center’s Adjustment System

Abstract: The optimization of the cutting process is a critical step during the process of manufacturing and machining. Some programs can help, such as CAD. The improvement in the manufacturing process lowers the cost of the product, the cutting process time, reduces the production time and increases tool’s durability. This work aims to show the manufacturing route of a set of sliding bearings (axial and radial), eliminating conventional steps, and its effectiveness using computer simulation, thus providing lower costs and increased productivity. The milling and turning process were used in this paper to achieve the desired effect. The tool used is designed for the locking method. So the welding step was eliminated thus energy saved for generating the set. To this, computational tests of stress, deformation and displacement were made.
